Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, December 20, 2012

Hey everyone, Brian here with your surf report this Thursday afternoon. I went out front first to see how the waves were doing, and found a few nice lines coming in and only a couple guys out in the water. The waves were breaking around waist to chest high and holding up with strong offshore winds and a dropping tide. Since there was only one surfer left in the water before I got the camera out, I decided to check the other side of the beach and this is what I found. Check it out!

Big peaks , with only a handful of surfers out in the water. The waves had really nice shape to them and some reeling all the way to the beach.

One lucky surfer managed to get one of those big peaks and worked it all the way on the inside, where it started to get a little hollow. Nice wave bro!

Here's Alan and his wife Stephanie on their first wave of their vacation here in Nicaragua. "Come on Alan, you can do it!, don't let your wife out surf you on your first day."  Ha ha , just kidding buddy, plenty of time to get warmed up, Welcome back!

Grinding inside section anyone?

Non-stop waves coming in at this spot all morning! Where were you?

There ya go Alan! Baby steps. Before you know it you'll be charging outer reef!

Here's local ripper Oscar, hiding out in the green room, on a wave out front earlier. This is definitely one of the local surfers to keep an eye on, future pro for sure!

Somewhere...in Nicaragua. That's it for today people, hope you were in the water today to share some of the action. Hasta manana amigos!
