Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, December 20, 2008

Hi everyone, this is Lucha Libre bringing you the action for the Saturday surf report.  Today we drove up to Playa Maderas to catch a couple of fun waves, and we did.  As soon as we got there we saw a few fun sets coming through but as soon as we paddled out it turned very inconsistent.  It was running about knee to waist high with some sporadic chest high on sets, the winds were offshore and the water was clear and a little bit chilly.

A couple of locals took a ride with us to the beach and they were doing the best to do some stuff on the small waves.  This is Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro with a pretty cool turn on this right.

On the next shot we have Jamil “El Coki” Brox going off the top on this nice looking left.  He’s getting ready for the upcoming parties on Christmas.

There were some beautiful girls trying to score some good ones as well.  This chick was able to have a couple of fun rides all the way in to the beach.

We didn’t have many good waves today but we always have something to ride.  Here we have a shot of this unknown rider taking one of the best set that came through the whole morning.  What a lucky guy!!!

On the last shot of the day we have “La Baloy” Chamorro smacking the lip with this vertical move.  The weekend is bringing  lots of parties down here in San Juan de Sur so be sure to check back tomorrow and find out if we can make it to the beach early. Lucha out!!!
