Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, December 19, 2017

Brian Scott

Hey everybody, Happy Tuesday. We still have our drought of waves, but very soon hopefully we will see a little pick up in swell.

Brian Scott

Not a whole lot going on out there today… in fact, there wasn’t a single surfer out when I went down to check it this morning.

Brian Scott

I looked and looked all up and down the beach, but then I spotted some of the locals frolicking in the back bay lagoon. Not a bad way to pass the time, especially when the weather is nice and the surf is flat.

Brian Scott

Well, this is what our “Flat” looks like.

Brian Scott

Funny thing is, (as I’m quite sure there are places in Florida, much like one of the places I used to surf back in CA) if it looked like this… everyone would be frothing!

Brian Scott

Still family time at the beach, this familia chose to play a little volleyball and try their skills on the slack line.

I figured since there wasn’t any surfing action back at the beachie, I might as well go try and take a look at the reef. There’s usually at least 1 or 2 people out there on any given day. But as you can see, my hopes were a little too high. I think everyone must be sleeping in today.

Brian Scott

SCORE!!! I found some people in the ocean. Ok, they’re not surfing per say, but they’re all about to get a nice little body slam from this out of nowhere 3 footer.

Brian Scott

Checking back up to the reef for good measure.. yeah, still no takers on this small, but fun looking day.

Brian Scott

December has definitely wound down, in terms of the crowds. Now is the time to book that quick little get away if you can. We should be getting some fun waves by the 23rd! Just in time for Christmas!!

Brian Scott

Ok amigos, it’s time to head on out and get some non-surf related things done for the day. Thanks for stopping by! Chao ~
