Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, December 15, 2018

Brian Scott

Buenas tardes amigos! Welcome to halfway mark of the month. On this 15th day of December we’re still seeing some pretty fun surf out there. Check it out!

Brian Scott

Are you a glass half full or half empty kind of person?? Esteban, here looks like he likes his glass full, full of fun waves, that is.

Brian Scott

The water’s still warm and green too!

Brian Scott

Alberto riding, literally an indestructible SUP. All carbon fiber and it looks like it goes about as high performance as any SUP will do. Can’t wait to see how things goes when these waves get back to DOH.

Brian Scott

Chocoyo riding the complete opposite. Probably I’m guessing here, 4 oz. glassed mini shred stick. Light and made to move like a butterfly and sting like a bee.

Brian Scott

Maycol, your layback snaps are getting better each time I see you surf little hermano! Sick One!!!

Brian Scott

2 foot closeout section… no problem, I’ll just go up and over it!

Brian Scott

This spot it made for all kinds of surfboards… however, I’ve seen some pretty amazing SUP’ing going down at this very surf spot. Kai Lenny, Jeff Clark are a couple that I’ve shot and watched surf this place to pieces.

Surf’s gonna be on the smaller side of things for the rest of the month, but that’s not going to stop everyone from going to surf. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it go completely flat here. There’s always something to surf.

Brian Scott

Of course, if you really need a little break from surfing, you can always stroll down the beach and watch the sunset with your honey. It’s not a bad alternative.

End of the day and heading back to the safe harbor, not that there was any harm out there today. Unless their cooler is empty of fish, then they could be in some series trouble with the miss’s of the home; but these are local fisherman, they always score! Buen provecho with whatever it is you got amigos! Saludos ~
