Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, December 07, 2016

Hola amigos!! Welcome to the surf report for southern Nicaragua! This is Parker signing in to show off some fun morning shots. Check them out!!

The swell is gone so the waves are a touch smaller. We hopped in a car and drove up north to see if another beach was catching more leftovers. We hope you enjoy today's shots of our NSR family!

As usual, Pancho Sanchez found the tube and squeezed in. Even though waves were chest to head (on sets), it was still barreling!

Getting the job done and showing everyone else how it's done!! That's not a bad start to the morning...

Louie and Heather Preysz are back in town. We are stoked to catch up with that family and catch some waves together!

Despite not getting consistent surf back home in St. Augustine, Florida, Louie is a tubo maestro. I hope I can hunt barrels like him when I'm 40...

He was going so fast and so deep that the camera couldn't focus!!!!!!!!

Bro, we're amped to hang with you and Heather for a couple weeks. Let's surf, get after it, and go have some fun!!

Hot Karl was a staple to the morning mission. Barrels, turns, and punts part of his bag of tricks today.

He was ripping on his Vanguard almost as consistently as Klay Thompson was draining 3's the other night!!

What's an NSR surf session without Super Woman Hace Queso?!?! She was hanging with the big boys and showing us how to stick the critical drops.

Because it's Humpday, what better place to surf than the nearby wedge? Or maybe it's just a good idea to surf any where to celebrate the upcoming the weekend...

Louie and Heather are back in town to finalize their brand new house: Casa Ola. Stay tuned to that vacation rentals tab in the top right corner of this website: we're going to upload some epic photos soon!!!

Trust me, their house is sick! The open layout, the splash of colors, and the overall mellow vibe will stoke your family out. We can't wait to start renting and advertising their pad!

Carlos Caliente going for the fadeaway 3!!! As in a 180 punt.

Hot Karl coming in hot for a busy landing!!! NSR bylaws in chapter XI section VII article IV state that if "one owner launches an air whilst surfing and lands near another owner returning to the line up, the owner who launched thou air shall donate two set waves to the owner who was paddling."

BUT, there is a contingency clause that states "the spouse of the owner who was landed on has the option to steal the next wave from the owner who launched the air."

In all seriousness (for a surf report that is), the five us enjoyed an empty line up trading waves. Even though the conditions weren't great today, we will remember mornings like these.

Getting back to business and the barrels, Louie was hunting them down!! He was stoked to fill his daily quota before eating breakfast.

It's funny though, Louie showed me how well he can find a tube (or crack this section), but I'm not convinced he can find the dishwasher at home...

It would be redundant to say Pancho was slipping into some tubes. Being a goofy footer, this is one of his favorite spots.

Not every wave barreled. Some were rippable so Carl showed off textbook turning form.

Here's a closer look at why we call him Hot Karl.

Hace Queso was quite expressive too because she was all smiles. Maybe it was because she was locking into some gems or maybe she knew she's make it home in time for breakfast with Safari and Soleil.

Farther down the beach, Lenin was putting his energy into his layback. All eyes on Lenin while he destroys that lip and sprays the entire lineup.

We hope you can coast through and float into the weekend like the rest of the NSR crew (even though it's only Wednesday!).

Ok damas and caballeros, we had an epic morning hanging out together and surfing fun waves. Thank you all for checking out today's shots! Pasa una buena tarde!!
