Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, December 02, 2019

Javier Baldovinos

Hello friends! Welcome to the first Monday of the last month of the year. It's crazy how fast this year went by, just as fast as today's waves at Colorado.

Javier Baldovinos

The water looked great from the beach with the afternoon sun reflecting on the waves, but you could also looked that everyone was struggling with how fast the waves were breaking.

Javier Baldovinos

The waves were fast and hollow, and only a few of the surfers out there were able to managed these condtions.

Getting into a barrel it's not that hard, the wave pretty much does all... but coming out of a barrel throw the main door it's all about speed control.

Javier Baldovinos

The waves had a decent size today, which caught everyone by surprise. Look at this beauty!

Javier Baldovinos

With today's fast waves, it was hard to find the right spot to wait for the peak, a lot of them went unridden.

Javier Baldovinos

I hope this whole month stays this way, I few more weeks and I'll be able to get back in the water.

Javier Baldovinos

If you are fast enough to get in front enough of the pockett then you can hit the lip with all the energy you have.

Javier Baldovinos

A great way to get in front of the wave it'sby doing a nice floater.

Javier Baldovinos

Today was definitely a good pratice run for everyone.

Javier Baldovinos

According to the forecast, tomorrow the waves will be a little bit bigger.

So far we have repaired 20 homes thanks to the support of donors. There are three more families waiting for our help, at the small cost of $500/each, total needed only $1500. 100% of the donations go directly to the project. Let us do this for them for Christmas!

Stay tune tomorrow with Brian Scott's report. The waves might be bigger so noone should miss them. Saludos!
