Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, December 01, 2016

Hola amigos y bienvenidos to the NSR surf report! This is Parker clocking in with the afternoon shots. Check 'em out!!

Yes, thanks for asking... The waves are still fun! And critical. Would you drop in that late?

Because if you don't, Carlos Perez will. That's one of his tricks and why him and Lesther are the best local tube riders.

Ahh it wasn't a perfect wave but I'm sure it still had a gorgeous view!! Thankfully, Carlos has had about 10 sick tubes per day for the last week.

The last week has been a fun stretch of swell. Yes, we can not wait to see what this weekend brings!! November ended with a bang and December is on a good track so far!

A few nugget lefts slipped through. This unknown surfista paddled over and showed off a sick layback!!

The sets weren't as consistent as normal. Regardless, Muzzy was stoked, smiling, and gobbling up the insiders.

Meanwhile, Katie was playing with her new perrito Otto. She rescued that cute puppy right before the "hurricane [Otto]" hit.

Kevin gave one last kiss to Maya before he paddled out. She is adorable and super lovable, especially to unsuspecting reindeers. Kevin, loan her to me for a couple days so I can cruise to the beach club at happy hour!?!?!??

I think her kiss did the trick!! Keep scrolling down and let me know what you think.

Kevin Malone ladies and gentlemen... SUBU!!!

Nothing like getting the WOTD on your backhand during a lunch break, huh???

Yeah Kevin!! Sick wave bro!

After that 17 photo sequence, would you believe that the rights were the call? Or will this snapshot convince you?

Although, there were a few left freight trains that rolled through. Carlos locked into this one.

Uncle Harfcho was down the beach busting some lips and getting some head dips. I'll leave the editing and filters to you and Mauricio (but mostly Mauricio).

Today is a big day in Hacienda Iguana. Not only has DJ Zymkowitz returned, but the workers have been prepping the volleyball court night and day. For those that don't know, DJ has been sending me mean threatening texts for two months saying he would spike the ball in my face. Today is the day to see what happens..... For the record, those mean itimidating messages may or may not have been only one 5 word Facebook message...

I'm not sure Carlos will make it to volleyball today. It seems like he's working on bigger and better (and higher) things.

Normally, John Gilem and I link up for the morning report. We thought the incoming tide was the call and plenty of fun waves crept through.

Here's a little treat to help get you through your Friday. At low tide, the waves were steam rolling down the sandbar.

Ok damas and caballeros, it's time to paddle back out and get a few. Thank you all for checking the shots and have a good weekend! Les veo en la agua!!!!
