Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, November 30, 2008

Hey guys, thank you for joining us for the Sunday surf report.  Today the swell dropped off quite a bit and the wind turned onshore, it was running about knee to waist high on sets and the water was nice.  This is an uncommon weather pattern for this time of year so we are sure that it won’t be around for very long. Check it out.

This morning our NSR soccer team traveled to Rivas, a nearby city to play a game of soccer with one of the many good teams in this zone.  Today we want to welcome a new member to the league.  Our very own Caleb Cooper has joined the team and on his very first outing he scored all three of our goals.  Unfurtunally we ended the game with a three to three tie.  We are stoked to have you aboard.  It was a wet afternoon, but as you can see in this shot the guys were still happy with the outcome.

Here we have a shot of a craftsman who makes these sculptures of fish, birds and other local wildlife.  Here in San Juan you don’t have to look very far to find people who do amazing artwork.

We stopped by the nearby sports bar to check on some of the scores of the NFL games, grab a cold beer and visit with friends.  It is nice to go and relax after such a hard Sunday.

Right before dark the sun came out just in time to bless us with yet another beautiful sunset. Please check back with us tomorrow and see what kind of waves we can find.
