Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, November 29, 2020

Brian Scott

Happy Sunday all you funday people out there who know how to spend the day proper before we get back to the work week grind…… as if there were really such a thing here haha! But it just feels right to say that the weekend is slowly coming a close and it wasn’t too bad of a day to be at the beach by any means!

Like look at Roberto on this buttery solid overhead right. If you could have been here for just this one wave would you vote yes for a one time use time travel machine? I sure would!

Rutci always stoked to be back or in this case backside at her favorite wave anywhere near the equator.

Ryan on the other hand is pretty much stoked to be surfing anywhere.  But much like Rutci, I know for a fact that he chose this particular place for one reason and that reason can and will be proven to you if you ever are fortunate to get the chance to come down his way to see exactly why this place is so freaking magical!

Déjà vu is a pretty common occurrence here almost daily. That’s because you can see what would seem like the same exact wave go by two, sometimes even three or four times and you’ll swear it was the same wave you just saw, but it’s just a pigment of your Déjà vu imagination.

A little size and some runners out there on tap in the afternoon. Choose wisely and you very well could have had one of the best days of 2020 in November so far before hit December.

No leash, minimal fins, and a lot of beard make for a pretty stylish and grizlyish kinda surfer.

Then again if you’re Colin Eberly, you know exactly who I’m referencing and if you watch him surf, especially in the heavy stuff, you might actually learn a thing or two.

I have a feeling the B-52’s were actually some of the original expat pioneers to explore this region…. one because I cannot think of how else they would have any other inspiration for their number one hit song “Shiny Happy People”? Jaja

Nicaraguan clam juice with a zest of limon!
