Howdy everyone! Welcome to the Friday surf report and the kickoff to the weekend, from yours truly. We had some super fun waves out there today and some fun stuff going on around the village, so come on in and check it out!

Didn’t realize that the swell which was saying 2-3 actually had a little better size than what was forecasted.

The reef was offering up some really fun peaky waves around midday and mid-tide.

Speaking of ladies, come on by the Iguana Brewery tonight where they will be rocking ladies night with 2x1 drinks and wings and also 10% off their new hats and shirts. I will also be showing surf shots on the big screen, so come on down in you’re in the neighborhood!!!

And although yesterday we had a sneaky partial rainy day, the sky’s cleared back up and it was back to sunny offshore and normal today!

So if you’re looking for a really fun event for the weekend, you should cruise over to Playa Jiquiliste (Santana) this Sunday for the Copa De Surf contest. It starts at 7am and will run all day. It’s going to be a fun event so come on out and check out all the shredding that be going down!
