Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, November 29, 2017

Hey guys! Kevin here with the surf report for Wednesday! A bit of swell coming in, you can already see some of the sets a bit larger in size this afternoon. Lets get to it!

Very rippable...

I don't know why but for whatever reason guys who surf in hats always rip. I guess it has something to do with the fact that if you can keep your hat on your head the whole time you must have some skills

Clean conditions out here. Light winds, some nice runners on the inside.

One of the aforementioned sets. This one snuck through. Note the poor sap on the inside there

Nice cutback here

Dallas, one of the boys from Gigante with his boat in the background.

Swung by Colorado to work on his turns!

Another beautiful afternoon runner. The colors were so nice out in the water today.

Heres one of the set waves. The waves were definitely lining up and starting to sort of look like "proper" Colorado.

Colorado when it's on is a fast wave, you need to get on and pump for speed as soon as you stand up

This guy took too long to get up and the wave outran him.

What a shame too, this was a beauty!!!!

Not everyone was out there to surf today. It was also a beautiful afternoon for a walk. It was almost as fun watching on the beach than it was surfing this afternoon

The rights off the rivermouth were working too

Beautiful set

The wave by the rivermouth had a little more power. But, the peak just slightly north wasn't bad either. There were a couple of loggers catching some nice ones on that peak.

This guy was also sitting on that wave. He caught a couple of nice ones.

Beautiful wave. She must have been stoked. Perfect spot to take out that longboard.

Coach Bryan out here with the pep talks.

Nice hack

Louie going back out for his next heat after that quick pep talk. I think he saw that I had a camera and that reenergized him haha!

Yeewww, even found a little bit of shade out there! He made this one.

Whatever coach said worked cause he came out swinging!

Look at this set! So smooth

Unfortunately she was not as lucky. Not exactly where you want to be....

I'm telling you guys that left was cranking!

Nice form! He didn't make this one though, a bit too deep. Nice view though

Another nice set with no one on it

Man I really wanted this guy to make it.

Suns out guns out

That's his board at the bottom there. A bit too late. Look at that beauty. He might have been too deep but it would have been an amazing view at least for a second or two in there. Look at the colors on that thing

Beautiful day!

Also, just wanted to let you guys know that our friends at Surfari Charters recently released a documentary about their beginnings and how they ended up in Nicaragua.  Worth the view for sure!  The above pic is a screencap from the movie.  Link to the movie below:
