Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, November 27, 2008

Hi everyone, thank you for joining us for the Thursday surf report.  First at all we want to wish a happy Thanksgiving Day from all of us to all of you.  Today we went to the beach hoping to have some fun waves and celebrate the Thanksgiving Day with some tubes.  It was over head on sets, the wind was offshore and the water was cold but the cold water didn’t stop all the surfers around to paddle out.

We want you to know that we have available Villa Pinolera, this is one of the best places to stay around town.  You guys will be super stoked to stay in this house because you can be the first one out and the last one out.  Check out this photo from Villa Pinolera looking down the lineup.

It looks like this afternoon we were feeling the new swell in the water because Machete Pt was on fire right before dark.  If you guys stay at Villa Pinolera during a good swell you can score some sick waves like this one.

Caleb “El Pescadito” Cooper was kind of sad because his brothers flew out today.  So he decided to take the longboard out and caught a couple of fun waves.  One more shot from Villa Pinolera.  Please send us an email if you guys are interested, we have special package available too.

Today we had a bunch of people out but mostly all of them were beginners.  Machete Pt was going off for more than two hours and nobody was able to catch the best set of the day.  Check out this peeling left with no takers.  God bless Nicaragua!!!

Armando “El Codo” Lopez was on the beach when he saw that left peeling through on the photo before.  So he paddled out and scored some sick barrels.  Don’t you believe us?  Here is this shot to prove it.  He wants to say happy birthday to his love “La Chompipita”.

There were a few good waves at the beach break as well but the lineup was pretty packed making hard to catch a good one with no one on.  Don’t you want to be in Nicaragua?  We bet you do, so make the right call and reserve with us to have access to the best places to stay, the best places to surf and the best prices.

Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro was so excited to surf some good waves today.  You guys know it has been pretty small lately but now we have our reward.  He was flying all over the place with some sick busting airs.  Here he is trying to make one over the rocks.

Ben “Nacho Mamas” Hubek wanted to ride some fun waves before he leaves the country and he did.  Here he is taking off on a sweet right in front of the rocks at Machete Pt.

Tonight we are having an amazing Thanksgiving dinner at Mango Rosa.  Our very own D-lite is going to be working there but we are sure he’s going to have his piece as well.  He’s a lucky guy.  Check out how huge that turkey is.  Alright folks, the swell is supposed to pick up tomorrow so check back and find out what we’ll have for you.
