Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, November 26, 2009

Happy Thanksgiving Day everyone, this is the NSR family bringing you all the action for this Thursday surf report.  Today we went to the beach in the morning, we had a lot people out there having a good time.  It was running about chest to head high with some occasional overhead waves on sets with nice offshore winds and also we had a beautiful and sunny day.  Check out the lineup!!!

Let’s get started folks, come over and have a couple of drinks with us but please do not get drunk!  Ja,ja we are just kidding!!!

Today we are going to start with one of the many international surfers that we had today out there.  This is Todd from Cal riding this beautiful right hander.

A few guys were trying to bust some air on a few of the many fun waves we had out there.  Here we have Agustin from Canada going big on this one.  Don’t give up buddy, you are going to make it sometimes!!!

The day was perfect today, we had some fun waves, we had a beautiful day and we catch some fish to eat.  And the best thing was coming, a big a,, turkey!!!

We had tons of fun waves to be had today, and there was many people to score them.  Here we have Isaac from Florida riding one of the better waves that he had out there.  Looking good my friend!!!

Today we met lots of people enjoying beautiful and sunny day on the beach.  This Jason and his wife Alexandra from California sharing a good moment with Isabella.  They were so stoked to meet us at the beach today, so we decided to post a photo of them, so they can remember their trip for ever.  Isabella wants to say hi to her mom.

There were surfers from all over the world enjoying our beautiful waves.  This is Silvinio from Brazil trying to pull into that little barrel section.  He was so happy because he picked up some really fun ones.

Today we had a few locals in the lineup taking some of the better sets that were coming in.  My brother Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia decided to take the water camera out and tried to catch some good shots.  Here we have Yamil “El Coki” Brox getting into a nice one.

David “El Pelon” Osiris was ripping all over the place.  He also was getting into some really fun little shacks.  Look up him getting into one of the many barrels had.  He also was looking for the water camera because he’s never get a water shot before.

Lucha Libre got pounded a couple times out there but tit did pay off because he snapped some really cool shots.  Check out this nice looking shot he got.  Alright folks that’s all for today.  Please check back tomorrow, we might have some fun waves to be score!!!

If you don’t like rum, we also have some tonas.  There is not an excuse folks!!!

This just in from our friend Mike D up in Tola.  The swell was hitting nicely up there and we are stoked to get some killer shots.  Here's one of our local kids, dropping in late and pulling under the lip.  Yes, there were some barrels to be had today!

Nica Waves actually got a cool shot of us heading out in the boat to spear some fish.  It's a little sketchy launching from here because you have to head out right through the surf - which was easily head-high today.  Luckily, we timed it right and made it out no problem.  We also got some nice fish for lunch!  Be sure to check out Juan in Limon if you are looking for a boat trip.

One last shot from the Nica Waves crew!   Be sure to check them out if you are looking for affordable accommodations in the Popoyo area.  Thanks to Mike for the photos!
