Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, November 25, 2008

OK folks, we've got an announcement to make.  You know that we are moving into the off-season for the hardcore surfers.  Don't worry, we'll still have waves to ride, they just won't be double-overhead and piping for a while.  No worries though, our friends over at Mango Rosa have come up with a creative way to keep the adrenaline flowing - the first ever BAR OLYMPICS!!!!  That's right folks, start your training now because the big event goes down on December 6th.  NSR will be there, the Flor De Cana girls will be there and Codo says nobody can beat him in "Rancho Rodeo Bar Surfing" - make sure you don't miss it!

Lucha Libre was out with the camera and took a couple of good photos.  Click on any of the photos from today’s surf report and find out if you got shot in Nicaragua.

Hi folks, this is Roberto Lucha Libre Garcia bringing you the action for the Tuesday surf report.  Today we drove up to Playa Maderas because we wanted to score some good waves with the new swell.  The beach was really packed and the waves were not in good form but we still caught a few fun ones.  It was head high to overhead on sets, the wind was offshore and the water was cold.  Check out the lineup.

We had a bunch of international guys out in the lineup today and almost a million beginners trying to learn how to surf in the inside part of the beach.  Here is an unknown rider dropping in on a nice right.

A couple of ladies paddled out and were having so much fun out there.  Here we have Mariel taking a nice right.  Today I was trying to take many pictures from different perspective.

Her boyfriend Marcos was part of the action as well.  He took the longboard out and was catching a few good ones.  Check this cool picture of him on this nice looking left.  It was overcastted making hard for photos but I was able to take some good ones.

Today there were about 45 guys in the water trying to ride some waves but always the best waves rolled through with no takers.

Machete Pt was throwing some sweet lefts all the way in to the beach.  I don’t understand how we can have many empty waves with many people out.  What a shame!!!

Armando “El Codo” Lopez was able to make it out today.  He has been working hard at the Happy House lately but he had a chance to surf for a while this morning.  Here he is styling in this barrel.

The swell is dropping a little bit tomorrow but it should be still pretty fun.  Please check back with us.
