Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, November 21, 2008

Hi folks, today in the morning the Peace Passers crew organized a soccer clinic for the local kids at the “The Comunidad Connect” court to give them some pointers on how they can improve their soccer skills.  All the kids were super stoked because Peace Passers gave them some new soccer uniforms and now they are able to play on the next contest.  Here in Nicaragua not many people want to support the young kids and keep them away from bad habits.  We here at NSR want to thank these guys for helping these kids out.  It is nice when people take the time to help out our community, again thank you very much.  If you would like to help out the guys at Peace Passers there is a link to their website on our home page.  Please check them out.

Later on, we went to the beach to check out the waves but unfortunately it was pretty small.  It was running about knee to waist high on sets and the wind was super strong.  There were a couple of guys out but almost nobody was taking waves because it was very inconsistent.  Here we have a shot of one of the best set waves that rolled in to the beach.

This is an unknown pale rider taking a nice looking left.  This guy was super stoked because at least he had a couple of waves and got wet.  The water is getting chilly so get your wetsuit ready.

On the way back home we saw these guys having so much fun riding horses back to town.  They actually said cheese when we took their picture and it reminded me of Pancho’s girlfriend “Hace Queso”.  Every time when we take a picture this is what she says, so we gave her the nickname ”Say Cheese”.

Our very own “Come Pan Panic” has been trying to lose some weight and working out hard for the past couple of months in the gym.  Roberto and D-lite came up with a great idea for a new routine for him to try.  They told him that he would lose his belly faster if he started chopping wood.  He believed them and now the whole town is lined up trying to get wood for their stoves.  Good luck Come Pan!!!  Please check back with us tomorrow.  Peace!!!
