Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, November 16, 2019

Brian Scott

Howdy Surf Fans! It was another great day of surfing on this Saturday afternoon. Fun waves, good conditions and all kinds of happy times to be had here at the playa all day long. Let’s check it out, shall we?!?!

Brian Scott

Toes touching the water and the initial paddle out is always one of the best feelings from the entire session.  Am I wrong?

Brian Scott

Surfing imitating the flight, or in this case, the glide.

Brian Scott

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say we might have the both some of the best BIG and small waves year round.

Brian Scott

Based on the consensus from everyone I’ve spoken with recently, I think it’s safe to say, most humans like the surf in the waist to head high range (in general).

Brian Scott

And when it’s on the XS size (like today), you can always grab something that fits even that wave size.

Brian Scott

The beauty of this place is it’s rarely ever flat.

Brian Scott

But based on todays swell, I think this guy has the right idea.

Brian Scott

Si! See! Sea! It’s always fun…!

Brian Scott

I’ve never actually ridden a Hypto Crypto, but I can see how they’ve possibly been one of the best and most universal surfboards in history.

Brian Scott

Two great examples in one image, exemplifying the purposeful use of two completely different surf crafts on one wave.

Brian Scott

One GREAT example of what one guy with a Sh!t-load of talent can do on a one foot wave!

Brian Scott

Ryan “Vana” Cook, getting his inner Dane Reynolds Groovy thing on, here in Nica-Land.

Brian Scott

That ain’t no “Beard Neck”, but it sure looks retarded cool!!!

Brian Scott

Mikey, practicing his inner Dane Reynolds… Errrrr.. that’s if he even knows’ who DR is? Hope you’re keeping your studying up hermano!

Brian Scott

I can honestly say that I like that this is where I’ve comfortably called this place home for the last 7 years! Gracias Jeison!

Brian Scott

This little hombre has a pretty bright future with his surfing, I can tell!

Brian Scott

This Big hombre was more than likely like the little hombre in the last shot. And it warms my heart knowing he’s still at it all these years later!

Brian Scott

It was an extreme pleasure meeting ripper Dallas Tolson from North Carolina, ripping these waves to pieces today! Bienvenido hermano!!! Esperamos verte de vuelta aquí abajo cuando las olas son importantes!

Brian Scott

Alright my friends… it’s been a super fun Saturday. Now it’s time I make my way over to the Open Mic at Casa Anana’s. It’s been a Great DAY! I hope to see you all back here again mañana. Yewwww ~
