Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, November 15, 2009

Hey there everybody, it's Pancho here with your Sunday surf report.  We are in the midst of enjoying another late season swell.  As usual, the waves are super fun and there are not many folks in the water.  The surf today came up a tad from yesterday and we had inconsistent but overhead sets mixed in with fun, head-high surf.  The winds stayed light and offshore all day long and the water is nice and warm (take that all you guys wearing wetsuits!)  Check out what we have for you today...

For our first shot, we have Heather "Hace Quesos", bottom turning on a nice sized left.  Cheeze was pushing her limits today and had a blast out there.

How fun does this little nug look?  Here's a good example of what not to do (and these guys showed up together!).  Come on man, you just foam-balled your bro!

There were some really fun waves today - lefts, rights, long playful ones, peaky barrels - something fun for just about every one.  We don't know this guy, but he grabbed this one and it just lined up for him!  Hey man, we got a few good shots of you today - hit us up if you want to check 'em out!

It was good to see our friend Ryan R. out in the line-up today.  Ryan has been logging a lot of water time lately and has this backside tube-riding thing down pat!  Good to see you out there today Ryan.

Speaking of spending time in Nicaragua - be sure to send us an email if you are looking for a warm place with good waves for Christmas.  We still have availability at some of the best places in Nicaragua and the prices won't break the bank.  Do it soon though, it won't be open for long!

Carlos Caliente has a nose for the barrel and it showed today.  He was able to find these fun little cover-ups on lots of his waves.  Here he is, cooling off from the morning sun.

Lastly, I'll leave you with a shot of a couple of guys splitting a peak together.  No, I don't think this is the "foamball couple" from a few shots ago.  This swell is forecast to drop a little but still stick around for tomorrow so we are still expecting some good waves.  NSR will be headed out to get some so check back with us and we'll show you what we found!

It's late and I'm surfed out and sunburned!  Pancho out.

...and this just in from Captain Moss and the Surfari Charters crew.  They just wanted to put up a reminder of who got the drunkest in yesterday's Panga Tournament (them), as yesterday's photo will clearly prove.  It seemed like there were not many large sized fish in the ocean yesterday, so everybody caught small ones.  Even so, the boys at Surfari managed to land some mini's and tied for first place anyway!...it was all just a big blur after they got up to the dock.  If you hold it really close to the camera, you can add 5 or 10 pounds, depending on how big the head is.

Congrats guys!  Your winning streak is alive and well.
