Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, November 14, 2010

Central American Surf Contest, November 20 and 21.  Come by and check it out!!!

Hi folks, this is Miguel Mora bringing you a little bit of the action for this Sunday surf report.  Today we went to the beach in the morning trying to snap a couple shots.  The waves were super fun, running about chest to shoulder head high on sets with nice offshore winds all day long.  Check out the lineup!!!

On the first surfing shot of the day we have our very good friend Dario, he was trying to get some fun waves.  Here I caught him dropping in on this small but fun left hander.

The lineup was not very crowded today, we only had about 12 or 14 surfers in the water including a few locals.  This is “El Friki” Dangla riding on this beautiful right hander.

Man, today was a great day at the beach - sunny and warm with a nice offshore breeze.  It's the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning.

Jonny pulled off a cool move on the longboard today and I was lucky enough to immortalize him on digital media.  Here he is, going fins-first on the take off.

Shot # 2 - this is what we call "the release"

Shot # 3 - check out the smooth style as he gets that big thing spun around.

Shot # 4 - Jonny, completes the 180 and continues down the line - cool as the other side of the pillow.  Nice work my friend!

We had a few local guys in the water doing his best thing.  This is Larry “Carita de Venado Tierno” Davila he was ripping all over the place.  Looks at him looking good with this little floater.  ...and look at me getting artistic with my photos!

On the last shot of the day we have “ Pancho Sanches” , fresh off his vacation to indo and back in the local line-up.  Welcome back Pancho!

Alright folks that’s all for today.  We actually have some onshore winds in the forecast for the next couple of days - looks like ANOTHER tropical system is forming in the Caribbean...will this ever end!!!.  We have another swell coming too so we'll see what happens.  Please check back with us!
