Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, November 11, 2010

The Central American Surf Contest is going to take place at Playa Maderas.  Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Salvador and Guatemala are bringing the best 16 surfers they have ranked right now to battle for the title.  It is going to be a wild event so make sure to come by and check it out, November 20 and 21.

The surf got smaller today but we fun scoring sweet little nuggets all over the place.  It was running about chest to shoulder high on sets with nice offshore winds.  Check it out!!!

The day was pretty cloudy, making our light a little tough for photos but we did our best to make it happened.  This is Jeff racing down the line on this nice form left.

There were a few small but nice bowly rights coming in as well.  Check out Jaimito going around this one to attack the lip.

Andy was also able to pick up some fun ones.  Here he is looking good on this nice shot from a cool perspective.  It was a shame that the light wasn’t that good for photos.

It hasn’t rained in the last days but a few of the rivers keep flowing some water.  This is Buda doing his thing on the river, helping people crossing the river.

There were some nice and clean peaks to share.   These are Collins and Kenny going right and left.  It is so nice to have a surfing pic with your best friend on the same wave, isn’t it?

A few guys were taking advantage at the first peak.  Check out this unknown rider having a blast on this one.

The waves were small but they still have some juice.  Sick bottom turn by another unknown rider.

A tight barrel shot as the last shot of this spot from this morning.  Waves are supposed t be about the same tomorrow but we hope to score some fun ones as well.

Later in the afternoon we went to check another spot out and we found some fun ones as well.  Here is Scott looking good on this sweet right.

Some sick lefts rolled in and this guy sat in the right spot to pick up some of the better ones on his big board.  What a sweet looking left, uh!

Reflection shots are something nice to play with.  We had a killer sunset tonight and here is the proof.  Please check back tomorrow.
