Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, November 10, 2016

Hola amigos and amigas! Bienvenidos to the NSR surf report! This is Parker logging on to show you the morning shots so check them out!

Today's conditions were similiar to yesterday: we had a fun morning session with a touch more size. Pe'ahi might have gotten the green light but it's staying pretty mellow in this part of the Pacific.

If you somehow don't already know Oscar Espinoza, you'll know him by the end of today's report. He was surfing really well and showing off a handful of airs.

The beachie was producing a lot of ramps. Oscar ate an extra bowl of gallo pinto and was ready to shine (as in fly).

If he was a regular footer, I would name him Filepe Toledo. Both of those two turn heads on, in, or above the wave.

I think he threw this rotation solely to show off his new Shapeshifter. Or maybe he threw it to show off the squash tail's magic.

This morning's texture was perfect and buttery smooth! The offshores kicked in late morning but they have calmed down during the afternoon.

Lesther, Oscar's older brother, was on it too. Oscar is very progressive but Lesther holds it down as the resident barrel rider.

I get jealous of this guy. Every morning, he has a beautiful view to look out of.

Unfortunately, some of the waves were stretched out. If it was bigger, he would have more room to navigate it and get spit out!

This morning was all about the local surfers. I think the visitors grabbed the backseat, made some popcorn, and enjoyed their show.

Do you know that feeling when you know you screwed up and your stomach drops? Yeah, I know that feeling pretty well too. I turned to say hi to a pretty lady guest then turned back and missed Josh's morning barrel... I owe you one bro!!

The southern hemisphere is slowing down and our offseason of surf is starting. I think we can still manage though...

Everything Oscar showed off was on his frontside. Let's see what kind of tricks this muchacho has on his back hand.

Do you see that hair following the rotation? Is that the x factor in boosting above the lip? If so Oscar, I'll grow my hair out again.

Or maybe weighing in at a buck 25 (and not two bucks) is the key.

Ahh so close hermano!!! Your air game has improved 10 fold primo.

Did we mention that he has a solid rail game too? Or was that already assumed?

Be on the lookout for a couple fun weekend sessions. A couple smaller swells are supposed to fill so the beachies should be fun. Fingers crossed!!

Josh Springfield is starting to tackle them and figure out his air game. He'll show his true colors when a huge barreling right steamrolls to the beach.

Lesther was launching above the lip on a few waves too. He just wanted to show off that sick NSR sticker on his nose!!!

Oscar, thanks for making my job behind the camera easy today! It was fun watching you guys tear it up.

Ok damas and caballeros, another day another fun morning session. Let's see what happens swell wise in the next couple of days. Pasa un buen fin de semana amigos!! Hotsticks is out.
