Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, November 06, 2008

Hello everyone and thank you for joining us once again for the Thursday surf report.  We have yet another tropical system in the Caribbean and her name is Paloma and yes she is bringing with her some more onshore winds for us here in Nicaragua.  We went to Maderas this morning and as soon as we pulled up the rain started coming down.  We took this shot from inside of the truck of an unknown rider.

We waited around for a little while and the rain stopped and out came the sun.  This is a shot of the best wave we saw all day and of course there was no one around to get it.  Besides this one wave, it was running about waist to chest high and the water was super clear.

Today Augusto decided to catch a ride to the beach with us in “El Burro” and paddle out.  He has Maderas wired.  He was doing some sick top turns in these less than stellar conditions.

D-lite has had to spend the last couple of days landlocked in Rivas taking care of some business.  Today he wanted to make sure that he made it to the beach with us.  Here he is with a small but fun looking left.

Once again we had a lot of girls charging the surf.  Here are a couple of identical twins who love to travel and surf together.  They actually both surfed very well.  We are really happy to have you here with us in Nicaragua.

For the last shot of the day we have D-lite and Augusto showing us a little old school versus a little new school.  You tell us which you prefer.  Please check back with us tomorrow and let’s hope the winds change back around.
