Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, November 03, 2021

Brian Scott

Happy Hump day of the week people… and happy Humps and BIG lumps is what we got too! New swell came in, in the late afternoon and looks like we already have our first great swell of November. Let’s just hope the conditions stay consistent with the fresh juice and energy the ocean sending us and we’ll be able to safely call this 2021 later season a good one!

November rain… before the actual and very punctual real rain that we’ve been getting pretty consistently every night. Good dang… if you know this place, you know that’s some legit swell for this time of year!

Josh giving the Gigante boat in the background a nice little “ducha” as it passes on by.

Hot Carl back in town and playing in his favorite place, second would be the golf course, but of course this green will always be his number one priority and oddly enough, both extracurricular activities he’s always shooting for a hole on ONE!

Imagine they actual could hold the “Chompipe Classic”, it’s our annual local surf contest every year on Thanksgiving. Usually November, we’ll be holding our breathe (or at least Señor Dan’the’man) would be every year wondering if we will even have surf, as right around Thanksgiving, it can be decently good, to sometimes oddly epic, or sometimes just downright flat or way small.

So with that said, if we have waves like this, maybe there’s a possibility we could have the “Chompipe Classic” at Playa Colorados. Now that would EPIC and pretty much go hand in hand with just how strange everything going on in the world is right now. Jaja

This guy might not even know what the “Chompipe Classic” is, but I bet if he’s a dedicated NSR fan like all you reading this, he might return just for the contest.

The conditions weren’t exactly firing on all cylinders…..

But if we luckily wake tomorrow to those beautiful sunny white puffy clouds and this swell is going off… tomorrow will be a really great day to be here, to be a surfer and me with my camera out there shooting YOU!!!

Brian Scott

I actually haven’t done an “evening” or late PM surf report for some time now, due to it raining like clockwork in the afternoons. So it felt nice to get back t doing some more of my favorite types of shots. Like this speed blur with the low light.

Another day in paradise…. or as we like to call it…. Nica-Land!

Brian Scott

Fire in the sky hanging on by a thread, but it was another bute!!! And yes, the rain did come like clockwork in case you were wondering. But it’s actually a nice and quite peaceful way to fall asleep round these parts. Just as long as the power stays on, it’s ALLLLLL GOOOOOD!!!!! I will see U Mañana ~
