Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, November 02, 2008

Welcome to the Sunday surf report.  Today we went to Maderas and the waves were super fun.  The surf was running chest to head high with some overhead sets, the wind was offshore all day and once again the weather was beautiful.  Check it out.

It was a little crowded today, but there were plenty of waves coming in with no takers.  Check out this right marching across Machete Point.

There were some locals out today getting some good waves.  Here we got Pedro “Chimbomba” Lopez taking off on this nice size left.  Pedro likes to spend hours on end in the water trying to improve his surfing.

As we said it was pretty crowded, but there were plenty of waves for everyone.   Here’s an unknown rider setting up for a nice barrel on this sweet looking right.

Our good buddy D-lite is so excited because we have a solid swell in the water and he was catching a lot of waves.  Here is a shot of him bottom turning on this left.  D-lite told us on the way home that he is starting to like surfing Maderas a little more because the locals are giving him his fare share of waves.

For the next surf shot we captured this photo of Lucas “El Pelucas with a sick backside turn on this head high left.  This guy was ripping it up today.

It was a pretty good Sunday and we wanted to end the day with another epic sunset.  We are supposed to have some good waves again tomorrow and we will be there to bring you all of the action.  Please check back with us tomorrow.
