Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, November 01, 2017

Carl NSR

Hello and welcome to our first report from November 17! This is technically the end of the rainy season and the first day of Nica summer, and the blue skies, light offshore winds, no crowd and small waves sure are signs of the changing seasons.

Swell has dropped a bit from yesterday and is running in the waist to shoulder high range. Water temps are still warm, and the shape is perfect. Get smart, be like JohnG and grab your log.....its fun time!

Carl NSR

Big NSR shout out to Mel, visiting from Cali and loving the borrowed Joel Tudor in these conditions. Great to meet you and travel safe.

With all the rain we've have new beach break sand bars and new peaks are popping up all over. All the better to get your flow on if you are one of the lucky few who happen to be here when things slow down. Here's a prone rider finding the glide.

Just a stone's throw from the waves we are enjoying today is the lovely Bella Vista V16 top floor condo. Calendar is now open for the 2018 season so hit us up at [email protected] to book this property or inquire about others.

Dialing you in to awesome post-surf activities like horseback riding, massage, fishing, volcano trips, zip-line, community tours and more is a small example of how NSR can make your vacation a memorable one.

Carl NSR

All this rain has the Rio Dulce river flowing. We haven't seen it flow out this much since 2010. It bodes well for good bars holding deep into the dry season. This may be a good year to book an off season surf trip to Hacienda Iguana. Hit us up at [email protected] for options and advice.

It didn't take long for Oscar and some of his friends to make their way down to the beach to tap in. Highlinin' and hot-doggin'!

Carl NSR

Capping off a nice down-the-line ride Oscar sends it on the end section. This kid's got talent!

Carl NSR

He's not too shabby on his backhand either. Yew!

Carl NSR

Empty at 7am but don't be fooled, this is where it all goes down. Feeling oh so lucky to call this place home .... #happyplace That's it for us for today. You know we'll be back tomorrow with more action from the beaches of Nicaragua.
