Welcome to Monday’s surf report from Santana beach. For most of you Mondays are the worst day of the week, but what if I tell you that I have good news for everyone… the offshores are back!

Some of you might be asking yourselves “Why good news when I’m sitting at work reading the report and not on a tropical beach surfing?” Well, here at NSR we believe this is a social service for all the surfers out there trap at work, making every day more bearable while you save money for your next trip to Nicaragua.

The sand bars are not quite settled yet but, like the good surfers that we are, we just have to be patient and wait a little bit longer until that glorious First Peak returns better than ever. I’ll be here making sure everyone will see it.

As you can see, there is less water flowing from the river and the beach is recovering to its original shape.

There were just a handful of surfers enjoying the morning waves which, as you can see, they had a great shape.

The forecast says that this whole week the waves will be around chest high so, don’t work too hard and keep checking our report every day. Have a great week!
