Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, October 29, 2015

Hello primos and welcome to the NSR surf report with Parker! The morning waves were super peaky and fun. Check out our shots!

The waves were in the shoulder to head high range. They were a perfect playful size to fine tune your barrel riding skills or try new tricks.

I shot photos early this morning to catch the mid tide. Nobody wanted to wake up and claim these nuggets...

But Nacho was ready to enjoy his fair share. Thank you Kimi, Zach, Nacho, and DJ for the party at Mark and Dave's last night!

It's that wonderful time of year that the baby turtles hatch and make their sprint for the ocean. If you take a walk after dark, you are likely to see 100 baby turtles scurrying for the shorebreak.

October is our rainiest month of the year. However, look how fresh and green everything looks! Maybe we will get one more dumping to break the river open and groom the sandbars.

When the river breaks, it redistributes the sand in the bars and creates peaky waves. Throw a barrel on that long wave, tame it for 7 seconds, and you'll be visiting Nicaragua every year!!!

If you missed out on the early morning session at our beach break, you missed fun empty waves. Set your alarms early for tomorrow morning!!

After a quick session south, I hopped on my moto and checked out our northern reef break. It always features open faces with a bigger size.

Tom Bauman always starts his morning with a session here. He's one of the funnest and happiest people in the line up, even after the fiesta last night...

Meet Jack. He's another frequent early morning charger. My Dad always says "old guys rule" and I think he's right about this one!

How about that inside section?! No claimers for that heavy beauty... Ok guys I appreciate y'all checking out today's report! Adios amigos!!
