Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, October 26, 2012

Hey everyone, Brian here, back from my little vacation and it looks like just in time too. If the forecast is right, we could see offshore winds coming back around tomorrow and the rest of the week. We've had a lot of rain this past week, which is good, because we need it! Not much surfing going on today, but I managed to get out and get a few shots in between the passing rain. Everything is looking nice and green now!

This is part of the parking area down by the beach, the only parking you can do here is with a panga.

Local workers taking advantage while no one is here and repairing some damage from the tremors we felt from an earthquake in Costa Rica last week.

Check out all the driftwood that washed up on the beach! This shows you how much the rivers were pushing out with the rains. Time for a bonfire!

Don't forget to bring your inner tube and take a ride down our lazy river. Crazy how the erosion just eats away at the sand.

Chocolate mess anyone?

A hint of possible offshores to come in the next few days....maybe?

I know some of you are starting to feel crabby after so many days of rain and onshores, but hey, we did have over 300 hundred days of offshores this year so stop complaining. They'll be back soon. That's it for today people, check back tomorrow and maybe the tides will have turned. Hasta manana amigos.
