Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, October 23, 2014

Yes! I love onshore winds! (read with sarcastic tone) Theo here with your Thursday report and we're going for a record with the most onshore days in a row. Storms all around, but our little slice of paradise stayed nice and dry somehow. Good thing surfing isn't the only thing to do here.

I'm still going surfing if waves like this are coming in. Unfortunately it's not easy to take pictures of yourself surfing (yea I know, solo shot).

Anyone up for a round of golf? The 9 hole course right here in Hacienda Iguana can be quite challenging.

These guys have the right idea. Cold beers and frozen rum drinks are looking good right now.

Monkey buddy here was making all kinds of noise from the trees. I don't think he likes onshore winds either.

This is an ice cream store going in right across from the NSR Surf Shop. I'm looking forward to a waffle cone on a hot summer day.

A cow gave me a look after dropping the kids off in the road (figuratively). I think she was proud of herself. Thanks for reading and check back with us again tomorrow when hopefully surf conditions improve. I'm going to find a cold toña and catch me some wind-slop. Theo saying adios until next time.
