I didn't make it on time to the beach to take photos but as you all already know, here at NSR we are a good team and we support each other so, Hot Carl took the photos in the morning and I'm in charge of writing the report.

The onshore was light and the waves had a good size, but the best part was the thin crowd... just a few guys enjoying the empty beach.

A couple of boogieboarders were out there making the best out of their vacation. Yes, everyone comes for the offshore winds but it wasn't that bad.

The rights were opening really good despite the conditions, with decent peaks breaking both ways.

Look! a small barrel! This guy cannot raise his hands to show us he's having a great time but I bet he had a big smile after this session.

Did I say that the rights were more punchy? Beware, Colorado is almost always punchy, some days more punchier than others.
