Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, October 19, 2009

Welcome everyone to our Monday surf report.   Today we drove around up north hoping to score some fun waves but unfortunately when we got there we found ONSHORE WINDS.  Yeah folks, we are not kidding, onshore winds first time this month, can you guys believe that?  Nobody was out at this spot so we had to keep driving for a while trying to find some surfers to shoot.  Check it out!!!

“El Danino” Martinez showed out to the beach to check out his homebreak, but he didn’t even want to feel the water.  That’s what happens when you have more than 300 days with perfect offshore winds a year.  Maybe tomorrow buddy!

Captain Moss was catching every wave he wanted with one his best friends right out front of his camp.  Here he is with a powerful turn on this left.

This is Luke having a good time down here, even is the wind is blowing onshore.  Hey man, it was a pleasure to meet you, hope to see you next time!  I know you will keep checking NSR archives everyday from now, won’t you?

The conditions were perfects for Luke’s little sun.  He was ripping all over the place.  Here he is riding a nice little left.

These guys were the only spectators we had on the beach.  They had the whole beach to themselves, so they loved it!

There were some nice sizeable set coming in today.  This is Kelvin taking off on a nice one on the last shot of the day.  The winds are supposed to be back offshore tomorrow but we never know, so check you later folks!
