Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, October 16, 2006

Oh no, not again. So we are learning a lot about keeping a boat moored in Bahia San Juan and the Dirty Sanchez is taking a beating in the process. This morning, about 10am, the rough seas caused the mooring to break and the Dirty washed up on the beach.

By the time we heard about it, she had already been tossed around in the shorebreak, beat up, torn down and in shambles.

Once the tide dropped, we were able to get the truck on the beach with the trailer and haul her off to the bodega. We've been here before and we'll get her running once again. At least we know what to do now. Thanks to all those who called to help out and especially Dale Dagger, who continues to help me in my endeavor to own a boat in Nicaragua.
