Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, October 15, 2010

This morning we woke up early and headed to one of the closest surf spots around town.  The swell dropped a little bit but the waves were still pretty fun.  It was running about chest to head high on sets with nice offshore winds all day long.  Look forward to see what we scored for you guys today!

The lineup was not busy at all.  There were only about 5 or 6 guys out and everybody had a blast.  Check out this shot and think about how sweet the waves were.  Nice form, beautiful sunny day and nice colors.  What else can we ask for?

The right was going off but there were also many sick lefts to be taken.  Here we caught Felipe, one of the very few locals that was out, about to bust a sick frontside air.

When the conditions are like today, it is so easy to take killer shots.  Here is caught this guy from Venezuela ripping the lip off the back with a powerful sick frontside turn.

It wouldn’t be a sick day without a sweet sequence, so check out this one.  El Mope Miranda dropping in on the first shot of the seq!

Shot 2, setting up!

Shot 3, pulling in!

Shot 4, are you having fun buddy?

Shot 5, getting deeper!

Shot 6, a little tight but still going!

Shot 7, looking for the door!

Shot 8, another section?

Shot 9, no,no,no coming out!

Check out this unknown rider racing down the line of this beautiful peeler.  Waves were so fun today, weren’t they?

The last action shot of the day goes to Larry “Carita de Venado” Davila with his signature move.  This guy has improved his surfing lately and now is trying to do more radical maneuvers.

Peace and love, NSR out!

We want to share a couple shots sent in by our friend Mike from Nica Waves.  It looks like the waves haas been super fun up there as well.  What a beautiful left with nobody in!

The ladies were watching the action from the beach.  This one didn't find a good spot to paddle out and opted to stay in.  We still got a cool shot of you cute lady.

This is what the lady was watching.  Wondering how the hell this guy did this move.  What a sweet snap, uh!

On the last shot of the day we have El Cheff getting some shade  on this little nugget.  Thanks a lot for the pics Mike and keep up the good work!
