Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, October 13, 2016

Hello everybody!! Welcome to the Thursday surf report at NSR. This is Parker signing in late to show you today's shots. Click "read more" and enjoy!

We knew the swell would still be pumping so we wanted to check out that northern point. Another day, another point break... Clase dia!!

Carlos Caliente was stoked to get out of the office (and me too)! Continue procrastinating your Friday morning and keep scrolling down.

Today's ripper was Tony Z. We were especially stoked for him because he normally shoots photos here and doesn't get to surf.

Bammm!!! He was nailing every top turn. You'll have to take my word for it, but I never saw him fall today. Although, I was only shooting the first third of the wave...

We call him Tony4/7 because he goes goes and goes. I think he cranked another two or three turns down the line.

Ryley Haskell works at a surf shack a kilometer up the road so he came out for a lunch break. Let's see if playing hookey paid off...

I think we can agree and say yes. He has mastered stylish cutbacks at this spot. Give it another five good swells and I think he will have the barrel section and airs locked down too.

Adam Baroody made the mission to meet up with us. Judging by his afternoon wave count and spray thrown, it was well worth it.

The last shredder of the day was Don Pedro. Thank you for clearing your schedule and making the session with everybody!!!

Yeah, we know, we surfed here yesterday. And yes, we know, we surfed here again today. Yep, we know there's an old saying about balance and moderation but no, we did not abide by that today.

Conditions were great but not quite epic. We loved the long rippable lines but we would have appreciated a hollowier barrel section. Don't worry though, we still found a way to survive.

Turbo made the quick celebrity appearance before his trip to Managua. Normally, he goes by "Tola's best bottomer turner;" however, we should dub him "Tola's best noserider." Regardless of his name (because we have many more that are not appropiate for the report), he's styled out, especially in those new baggies courtesy of NSR/Hace Queso!

Party wave!!! What's wrong with a little friendly fun admist the shredding???

This body boarder slipped into about five tubes in front of our camera. His other mates were ripping too. If you guys want to get those photos, email me at [email protected]. Safe travels home amigos!

Elvin was the crew's boat captain and he laid down some serious backside turns. What more can you ask for in a job? Driving boats and surfing!!!

Is our faithful audience still with us? We still have more sick action to show you...

To get you guys refocused, yes, Don Chele is still ripping! If you guys want to surf this spot, he's one of the best photographers to line up. Look him up at Tony Z Photos.

The boys paddle over from the boat, the men paddle out from the beach through the shorebreak, but the ironmen walk the rocks and jump out.

The result is SUBUing it!!! On Kevin's first wave, he found the barrel and committed. Too bad his biceps were too big to squeeze out... Maybe next time bro!

And DLite is back for the offseason! Welcome back in town hermano!!! Keep smiling and shredding.

If (somehow) you don't know him, he's part of OG NSR crew and has logged countless hours at spots before the crowds and development. Check out the result.

Yeah DLite!! We're stoked to see you around again and share some peaks!

Hot Karl also recently returned to town. After a long fun vacation, we were stoked to get him back in the water and see him tear up the faces!

Or, maybe blasting the section is a better description.

As the only other regular foot, I think Adam gave Tony Z a run for his money. For one one of Adam's first times here, he settled in and was ripping too.

As a kid, Turbo always wanted to fly. Now, he's just fly.

There are two things you need to stay tuned for: 1. tomorrow's report for leftovers and 2. see how much longer Tony Z grows out his flow out for. In two or three months, it'll be a proper man bun, as he passionately explained to today's line up.

Carl, thank you for organizing today and hooking it up! Working for people like you and days like today make up for the long hours.

Ok damas and caballeros, I hope you enjoyed today's action and thank you for checking it out!! We had a killer day surfing and hanging out together. Hopefully there are fun leftovers tomorrow morning. Por eso, hasta en la manana amigos!!
