Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, October 11, 2015

Hola amigos and welcome back to the weekend report with Parker at NSR! We still have plenty of waves for everybody. Check out the shots from this morning.

Peter Kerson bought a sick new Roberts shortboard with magical barrel riding powers. How's that board working out Pete?!

After eating a whole large pizza last night, I knew Josh Springfield would have plenty of energy to slay the tubes. You can find him out there all day everyday.

The rights were firing this morning. Too bad there were October crowds (aka an empty line up) and nobody rode the wave...

Low tide produces the best drainers so check out this guy's barrel!

15 photos later, he was still in the beast. He had enough time to make some coffee and eat a plate of huevos rancheros. Hit me up [email protected] for the sequence!

Meanwhile, others were relaxing for their Sunday Funday. Make sure you swing by the Beach Club in between sessions for a fresh meal at Pili's Kitchen, a refreshing beverage at the Tiki Bar, or a siesta in the shady hammocks.

Historically, Octobers are a rainy mouth and the river breaks open. Even if the river is low, we are still scoring amazing surf right now.

The sets today were a touch over head high. During the "lulls," the in betweeners were still fun!

And they provided an easy lip to gouge out. Yeah buddy!

Josh locked into another beauty. His dad takes awesome photos so check 'em out at Springfrield Surf Shots.

Over the past few days, the currents have been tougher. As a result, the sandbars shifted around and made some new peaks.

Here's one last A-frame for you. Everybody saw the set before this wave and paddled out. Get out there and enjoy the weekend for yourself! Adios amigos!!
