Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, October 09, 2010

Today we drove to Playa Maderas to check the waves out.  The surf was small but it was super fun and clean.  Lots of people showed up and had a good time.  It was running about waist to shoulder high on sets with nice offshore winds.

Our very own D-litecito was ripping all over the place on his backside.  Here he is showing us how to attack the lip of a nice section.

A few longboarders were out in the lineup taking advantage on some of the better sets.  Here we caught this one dropping into a sweet left hander.

It was all about having fun today, no matter how big the waves were.  Check out this buddy riding this one on his nalgas!

A couple of nice sized sets rolled in and this little kid sat in the right spot to score some.   Here he is bottom turning a nice peeler.

Here is a shot of the scene on the beach, pretty woody.  Lots of wood was washed to the beach and now it is time to get it clean.

All the local kids in the lineup were trying to do some radical maneuvers.  Here is Gerson “El Botetas” with a nice roundy.

On the last action shot of the day we have “El Monito” Solis with a nice front side turn.  As always he was all smiles at the end of the day.

Waves should be fun tomorrow so make sure to check us back out!!!
