Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, October 07, 2020

Hello NSR fans, it's October and everyone should know by now that it means a lot of rain and chocolate conditions here in Nicaragua.

I went to check out Santana beach but nobody was out, everyone was just day dreaming and mind surfing the messy waves.

There were some corners that could have been fun for surfing but probably the reality of been paddling around trying to find the right spot to take off would have been a frustrated experience.

Check out first peak... do you think Eddie would have gone for it?

Even this dog looked bummed with the brown conditions.

The good thing about October is that it brings all this rain that help the plants and animals in so many ways. It brings food from up the mountains down to the estuaries, and also moves around the sandbars preparing them for the surf season.

Another great thing about October is that November is just around the corner, which is my favorite month of the year... the weather is nice, everything is green and the waves get good again.

In the afternoon I decided to check Colorado to see if anyone was out surfing, but no luck... the few people at the beach were playing volleyball.

Javier Baldovinos

The water here at Colorado is way cleaner than Santana, don't you think? That helps to make people go surfing even on rainy days.

It started raining again so I couldn't wait longer to see if anyone would come out for a sunset session, maybe tomorrow? Take care everyone!
