Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, October 06, 2018

Brian Scott

Welcome to the stormy Saturday Surf Report. Rain has been practically non-stop all night into this morning. Went down to check to see if anyone would be braving the conditions, but to no surprise, not a single person was out.

Just mother nature’s “no tan bonito” side. Well, it actually had a couple of moments, like this here.

Brian Scott

Winds are howling onshore and the sea looks angry. A good time to be inside doing some… uhhhh, inside type work.

Brian Scott

Unless you have to be outside, it’s a good time to practice your Jedi sword stick tricks with your bestie on the beach.

Brian Scott

So much debris has made it’s way down the swollen rivers and onto our beaches the last couple of days with all of these rains.

Brian Scott

The good side (once this cleans up a little) is that both rivers on both sides of our bay has completely opened up.

Brian Scott

The downside with it comes this. Yuk!!!

Brian Scott

Look, that’s totally surf-able!!

Alright surf fans. Hang in there. This is only temporary, I promise. This is the norm for this time of year down here, and statistically, we should be getting some really fun surf again with amazing conditions not too far from now. So keep a keen eye on the swells, we’re set for a nice juicy swell mid-month. Let’s just hope the weather goes back to normal, in time! #surfstike HERE if you like empty waves!
