Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, October 06, 2015

Welcome ladies and gents to the surf report with Parker! The SSW swell is starting to show and we are ready. To help brighten your work day, check out our shots!

It was consistently head high with sets a touch over. If you aren't 6'5", that means perfect barrels! Judging by the forecast, my time is coming.

Normally, October brings onshore winds from frequent rains and hurricanes in the Atlantic. If you scored from Joaquin and still have tube fever, make a quick trip to our backyard!

14 photos later, this guy is still in the sandy drainer. Reach out to me at parker@nicaraguasurfreport if you want to see the whole sequence.

The north peak was going off and producing killer rights. Even between sets, surfers tucked in to these gems.

Same shredding Carlos but a new attitude and haircut. It's good to be cracking jokes with you again in the line up buddy!

Today is the last day for Don's crew in the NSR Beach House and man are they getting some good ones! It's been awesome having y'all here, roasting pigs, and hanging out all day (when I'm not on the clock...). See you guys next year!

After watching this guy's wave, I understand why Codo tells me to stretch more and try yoga... keep scrolling down.

I guess he's has a point: loose legs help you regain your balance and board. Then, you'll be pulling into those previously unmakeable waves

Looking at the long term forecast, we will have a few weeks of great swell. Even though the Santana Clinic is professional and capable, be safe out there!

The uncontested south peak was making some decent stomach high nuggets.

And the leftover wave made a nice corner to blow your fins out!

The mid day sessions are tough due to the strong sun and water's reflection. However, if you want to avoid it, give the next wave a hand drag and enjoy the shade.

If you're feeling a little caged in at your cubicle right now, come check out our office view. I have a feeling that you'll appreciate the change in pace.

One last gorgeous right to look at today!!

Thank you Jen for spending part of your summer living the Nicaraguan dream with us and Lisa for visiting. Chris, looks like your ladies got out there charging harder than you...... Haha. I hope y'all enjoyed the report today and see you tomorrow!
