Buenas vibraciones bienvenidas y feliz Viernes! Welcoming in October with some beautiful sunny weather and super fun clean waves today. Here’s to October 1st and hopefully a fun filled month of waves!

Today wasn’t too big nor too small which made it super fun…. that and the consistency was flowing like a nonstop wave machine. Little dude here looking for an overhead (in his size) barrel.

I’ve seen so many big sprays like this over the last coming up on ten years now with that iconic picturesque backdrop of Costa Rica in the background.

Speaking of Costa Rica, fun and super random fact is there aren’t any crocodiles here, at least around these parts of Nicaragua. But that’s ok with me, because I’ve been in some lineups where they like to swim. It’s not a good feeling. jaja

So it’s safe to say Nicaragua is “Croc” free. but a lot of people like wearing them funny little shoes tho! It’s ok, this guys cutback makes up for them funny little shoes.

It was like being at a surf park today. If they were ever to make one..? Oh that’s right, they’ve brought back wave pools that used to actually be a thing like 30 years ago.

The only difference is this wave is free. You just need to find a good deal on airfare, a reasonable setup or place to stay and the rest is completely “libre” - FREE!!!

October - the wettest most rainy month of the year….. this guy’s trying hard to make that precipitation factor quota all by himself.

Remember I said, not too big, not too small today. There were a few little sneaker sets, plenty well overhead.

But when every wave out there was practically the shape of a teepee on everyone, all surfers know this is the time when it’s the most fun to be out there catching waves!
