Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, September 27, 2020

Brian Scott

Happy Sunday friends! We had a pretty mellow day around these parts. Certainly can feel the winding down of the season, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the waves will come to a halt. We actually had our first international flight come in the other day, so now might be your time to start thinking about a little vacay to Nicaragua!

When I say it feels like the surf season’s winding down, that’s only because this is how the waves were looking this late afternoon and Chris was the only one out there.

The sun was setting up for another nice PM light show while Chris was setting up for nice little backside barrel here.

Brian Scott

There were actually some pretty decent waves coming in.

Clean with some light gentle warm offshores too!

Sundays tend to be a full day of beach activities for the families that reside here. Carlos and his amigo Jett wearing out the last little bit of energy that they had left for the day.

The tide was super low, so maybe that’s why I didn’t see anyone else out. I imagine it may be pretty good in the AM!

That’s all the was left was just me, the birds and the lonely boat moored out the back waiting for our next big swell to arrive.

Brian Scott

That’s right…. we have a really juicy swell heading our way. So there’s still some hope for September giving us a glorious gift from mother ocean!!!

Here’s the current week and long range forecast…. Check out Tuesday through Thursday!!!! October’s looking to be pretty fun as well.

Brian Scott

That is if it’s not raining a bunch, which I have a hunch it’s gonna be a pretty wet one.

Brian Scott

I really Love this time of year though. The amazing light shows we have every day are some of the most spectacular one’s I’ve ever seen in my life.

The close to another beautiful day and a pretty fun weekend I must say. Thanks for always checking out the reports. Stay tuned for this weeks big swell. Yewwww ~
