Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, September 21, 2016

Hola amigos and welcome to the surf report for southern Nicaragua! This is Parker logging in to show you the morning shots. Click read more and enjoy!

Nothing special filled in (yet!) but it was still super fun! Rippable blue waves, zero clouds, and light crowds.

This wave usually appears soft but the clean up sets and late take offs always deal a curveball. Let's see how Donnie Boy manages...

When trying to keep up with the young guns, his (and his partner's) favorite moto is "old guys rule." I see a good amount of space between the bottom of the board and the wave so hopefully owns his creed.

Yeah Dad!! Way to stick it. Thank you for coming down and let's go get a few!

If you want another tricky wave, head inside. You'll find some fast hollow tubitos in shallow water.

Being patient and waiting outside pays off. Check out this guy's wave all the way to the beach!

10 photos later... still cruising down the line.

Mid tide is the best of both worlds. The break produces the longer lines like lower tide but the size is a touch bigger similar to higher tides. Manage your speed well or take a log out!

And when in doubt... pull in! Especially if it's a closeout on a longboard. Nice long wave hombre!

Have you seen our weekend forecast?! Something fun is supposed to fill in so keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned to our report!

Once the interval kicks up, you'll see the peaky waves with good shape; however, they will run the entire way to the beach. Make sure you're in the right spot and not facing it head on like these guys.

When the wave reels inside, be on the lookout for the face. It practically begs you to smash it!

Ok damas and caballeros, get out for the afternoon and sunset session! Thank y'all for checking out today's shots. Hasta en la manana!!
