Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, September 17, 2009

Welcome to the Thursday surf report from out here at one of the most popular beaches down south.  The waves were running about chest to shoulder high on sets today but the wind came ONSHORE all day long.  That’s probably going to bring us some fish later this week.  Check it out!!!

The lineup was not crowded at all, there were only about 3 international surfers out and the Chamorro Brothers.  Here we have this unknown rider trying to get some speed on this mushy one.

On the next shot we have “La Baloy” Chamorro bottom turning one of the cleaner set waves of the day.  It looks like he was not feeling the hangover from his birthday party.

Check out how fast that flag in the background is moving.  Hopefully the wind will be back offshore tomorrow, starting the new swell.

We had a few guys in the inside trying to learn how to surf.  Here is one of them riding this one all the way in to the beach.

On the last shot of the day we have “La Gaviota” Chamorro with a cool spray on this right.  I don’t know why but he loves ONSHORE WINDS but he rips.  The swell is supposed to push a little bit tomorrow so make sure to stay tuned with us!
