Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, September 16, 2015

Hello everybody and welcome to NSR's surf report with Parker! The ocean is still resting and staying around stomach to shoulder high. The morning was beautiful and playful so check it out!

I visited our nearby northern reef break because it magnifies the swell a little better than other areas. Also, the reef allows the water to stay blue even at low tides.

Yes, a longboard was a safe call to score some rollers. However, our surfboard quiver has plenty of shortboards with extra thickness to help you draw lines and practice turns.

For only a total of 6 guys in the water, I can settle for a smaller rolling right (for the time being). The weekend forecast shows the swell building a couple feet!

This guy was cruising in style and picking off uncontested lefts all morning. He made the best of it and smiled all morning despite the lackluster conditions.

Mi amigo Jose loves working as a gardner because he gets to surf before work and during lunch. Today, he said he'd rather take a siesta and dream about how the waves were last week.

On the other hand, Fransisco is learning and enjoying the softer waves! If you're learning, let NSR hook you up with a surf lesson.

The coconuts are finally ready! Grab your shades, a beach towel, and splash of Flor de Cana this afternoon!

Ok guys it's lunch time for me so I'm going to grab a funboard and go catch a few rollers. Thank y'all for checking out our report and stayed tuned for some head high swell this weekend (fingers crossed!). Adios amigos!!
