Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, September 13, 2008

Hi folks, this is Lucha Libre bringing you the action of the Saturday surf report from out here at Maderas.  The waves were even smaller than yesterday but it was looking in a great form all day long, so there weren’t that many people out just a couple locals and a few international surfers.  It was running about waist to chest high on sets and the wind satisfactorily was offshore.  Check it out.

One of the locals out there was “El Tuzo” Morales.  This guy was riding plenty of the bigger set waves that were coming through today.  Here we have a shot of him bottom turning on a nice sizable right.

This is “El Canibal” hand dragging on a fun looking left on the big panga.  It was so cool to see that everybody was having so much fun out there on the small ones.

Rex “La Bestia” Calderon got back to the action and was practicing his signature move, big 360’s aerial.  He’s getting ready to go to the Quicksilver Pro in Salvador at the end of this month.

Wayland “El Rolinpin” Dangla was catching a couple left today; he’s still waiting for a huge swell to go out at Outter Reef.  He’s one of the few surfers who like to ride big waves.

After a little bit more than 3 months, the soccer league got to the end today where the NSR Team did it very well again. In this contest we got the third place with 18 won games and just 1 game lost “The Semifinal Game” but we got the prize as the best soccer team this year with the best winning record, we got the best coach “Chulolo”, the best goal keeper “Carrillo” the best goaler “Cascarita” and one more trophy as the most improved team during the tournament.  Well done guys, we hope to get the Champion Ship next year.

On the last shot of the day we have my daughter so happy to be celebrating her birthday. She just turned 4 year old this last September 11th but we made a party for her and her friends today.  Al right folks, we are expecting to get some waves during the next days, so stay tuned with us.
