Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, September 12, 2013

What's up amigos! This is Buck providing your Nicaragua surf report. The onshore wind has been the problem, but I have some good news. I am no meteorologist, but from personal observation and surfline wind forecasting, it seems that the wind has been shifting from the south west to the north west. Today the wind continued to switch more northerly as the day progressed. By the time the sun was going down, it was very side shore and almost a little bit offshore! Still somewhat junky, but there was more swell and we are hoping for more tomorrow!

No barrels, but definitely some little corners coming through. Check out this little cut of the top!

There was a lot of current today. This guy had the right idea to start his paddle out farther north and drift to the lineup.

It was mostly rights today, but there were a few lefts out there. This surfer found a nice one.

The waves demanded more work, but there were few surfers out and plenty waves to be had.

There was no rain today, so it was a good time to chill and soak up the sun on the beach. I wonder what the peanut gallery had to say?

Some rippable corners did exist. Check out this one!

All right my NSR homies, that's all I got for you. Hopefully we will get some good conditions tomorrow, so stay tuned! I will be departing the country this Sunday, but it has been a pleasure delivering the report. Peace
