Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, September 11, 2018

Brian Scott

Hey everyone, welcome to the Tuesday surf report. We had some incredibly beautiful, clear, sunny conditions out there this morning. Drop in and check it out!

Brian Scott

John G, had this to say right after his mornings session… “I came down really early and it looked so-so, but then it just got better and better”.  Looks to me like prefect PC’s!

Brian Scott

Even Kevin was on it early. That’s one way to get the sleep off your eyelids.

Brian Scott

Making the long walk out across lots of low tide sand in the early morning sun. Never a bad way to start the day.

Brian Scott

Oscar and CO. (aka family) were out in full force.

Brian Scott

With little to no wind, it was sheet glass out there this AM.

Brian Scott

Top of the morning to you Mr. Lesther.

Brian Scott

and nice off the top of that wave as well to you Sir.

Brian Scott

Even the paparazzi were out early. Scott getting his TMZ on at the PC shack-fest.

I think everyone has been eyeballing these onshore winds we’ve been having as of lately and everyone was crossing their fingers hoping that the forecast said it was supposed to be a little mellow early this morning. Looks like their wishes came true. Kei came prepared regardless with his Big A game… A for AIR.

Brian Scott

Sometimes the initial drop of a good sized set wave can be a reward in itself. Especially if you stick it without wiping out.

Brian Scott

What’s even better is making it past an almost impossible to make crumbly snowball section and squeaking under the lip just in time to do this…

While setting up for a little more of….

While this is what we had for breakfast in Nica-Land, how’d your morning go out there?

Brian Scott

Just to let you know if you’re going to be in the Tola area this weekend, starting this Friday… There’s a new addition to Plaza Riviera de Tola: "RIVIERA FARMERS MARKET"  There will be Organic vegetables, Art, Crafts, Plants, Bonsais, Hors D'oeuvres, Wine, Beverages and more... See the details on the flyer here and contact Roxanna or Daniel Snyder if you have any questions. 8882-2333 / 85979511

Come on out and help support the local community and have some fun with food, music and good times and check out the newly built structure that is absolutely amazing!!! There will be shuttle service to and from Hacienda Iguana as well.... So nos vamos ~ ~ ~ Hope to see ya there!

Brian Scott

Although the conditions were back to about as epic as we can handle down here. People anticipate the on-shores to be back like clockwork in the afternoon; But you might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

Brian Scott

Oscars’s highly optimistic about it cleaning up soon though and quite possibly being really epic within the next few days once this low pressure system dies off.

Brian Scott

Surf, sparkle and fade. Not necessarily in that order.

Brian Scott

Carlos all warm and comfy in “his” version of the Nica Hammock.

Brian Scott

Surfing has cheerleaders too, I bet you never knew.

Brian Scott

Ok amigos, it’s time to go have a great big Nica style breakfast, especially after a surf session like that. We hope to see you back here again tomorrow for hump day. Adiós y tener un gran resto del día ~
