Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, September 05, 2019

Brian Scott

Welcome folks to the Thursday surf repot. It was kind of a calm before the storm kind of day. Grey and overcast with some variable side shore winds. However there were still waves to be had and the water is super warm, so why not come jump in with us Alex!

The dismal weather had me checking the surf periodically throughout the day. As so it seems, the sunset time never fails to provide for the goods.

Brian Scott

Rutcie on a GEM, or maybe even the wave of the day. Look how clear and beautiful that one looks!

Brian Scott

Ironically, here is Rutcie’s hubby on the same wave or maybe one right after, but going on the left. Looks like a completely different day.

Brian Scott

Waves are still in the small and playful zone.

Brian Scott

But that won’t be for too much longer as our new 4-6 foot swell should be here in a few days, hopefully.

Mike D (no, not from the beastie boys) here cracking open a nice new bottle of 1942 (I know that’s exactly what’s going through his mind on this wave) jaja! The color looks sorta similar, but with a touch of Nica ocean!

Brian Scott

Raise you hand if you LOVE Nicaragua!!!!

Brian Scott

Hahaha - This kid agrees too!!!!

Brian Scott

We should see a lot more of this in the next coming days.

Brian Scott

Super steezy sick turn Jeison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brian Scott

Sometimes here you have to watch your back from the other side too… I looked back towards the East and saw this thing coming quick. The rain we all felt that was coming all day. So humid!!!!

Brian Scott

Well, being that I had to make a quick dash to take cover at our beloved Beach Club, luckily I snagged this last shot of John throwing down this sick layback snap with plenty of pre-rain percipitation.  Thanks for checking out today report. Come on back mañana for Baldos report for the weekend Kickoff!  Saludos ~
