Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, September 02, 2011

Well, the weather went to S*#! overnight and we have stormy conditions and onshore winds on top of our XXL swell (Bummer).  Lucha is going to be putting up some photos of something (I don't know what) later, but we are stoked to bring you this bonus shot from yesterday in the meantime.  This is Pancho, pulling behind the curtain after letting go of the rope.  I love how you can see all the way through the barrel!  Special thanks to Surfari Charters, Lance and TimO for sending this in!  Man, I wish we had good conditions today!

What’s up folks?  It is Lucha Libre here with a few shots for today’s report.  Yesterday we were super stoked because we scored some sick and super fun surf with the monster swell we have in the water but today the conditions didn’t cooperate.  A huge storm showed up first thing in the morning and literally killed the whole day.  Strong onshore winds and rain made our day a little tough.  Check it out!!!

We checked the surf out but it didn’t look good, so we drove back to the shop and played some ping ball.  Carlitos was smacking that thing and Codo has nothing to do with that.  Buyyaaaaaaaa!!!

Claudia was getting some work done at the shop.  For that people that doesn’t know her, she is the one that is always working hard behind to make your stay the best as possible.  We have to say that she is a good chef too.

The day was mostly cloudy all day long but we got to see a little bit of sunshine for a while.  Codo posing for the camera with his new friend.  He is very familiar with that pal, I do not why!

A few guys went to check the surf in the afternoon, they actually tried to go to out but the currents and the solid swell we have out there didn’t allowed them to go out.  Walking back home, hoping to find an ice cold tona in the freezer.

There were plenty of mushy waves breaking at the outer reef but nothing makeable, or maybe I should say nothing worth it.  You can image how strong the winds were just watching that guy on the right side holding his towel.

A little bit of our nature, as the last shot of the day.  We are hoping to score some surf tomorrow so please check back tomorrow.
