Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, August 31, 2016

Hello friends and welcome to the NSR surf report! This is Parker logging in to show you today's conditions. Check it out primos!!

We received another big storm last night! Even if it affects the wave's texture, we are stoked for the farmers and locals who need the water.

The reports say the winds will turn offshore this weekend. In the meantime, we'll hang tight for a couple more days!

Besides, there are still some fun waves out there! Low expectations = a surpirisingly good time

A couple heavy waves rolled through this morning. Look closer at the lip smashing the sandbar!!

I surfed this morning and it was still a ton of fun! Zero people, gorgeous water, and a some good ones before breakfast.

Checking in at the NSR shop, we received a new shipment of goodies! Our latest shipment includes track pads, fins, and leashes. Cruise by our shop to get dialed in before the winds clean up!

Besides surf gear, we're stoked to feature local business' artwork too! Ana, our property manager, is showing off Glenn Martin's tile paintings. He's a talented artist who captures to the local vibe. For the lady back home, scoop up a Roots and Soul pocket book.

Back at the beach, a couple tubes came through. Unfortunately, it was tough for him to draw a high fast line in a smaller wave.

Although surfing is one of our main attractions, talk to us about fishing charters or day trips. The warm blue water brings in all kinds of fish. If you're with your family, check out San Juan del Sur for the day (Flying Frogs, SJDS Cervezeria, or the Jesus Peak)!

Ok damas and caballeros, the onshore is almost over! Surf in the morning for this smooth texture (while everybody sleeps!). Thank you for checking today's shots and hasta en la manana!
