Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, August 29, 2017

Brian Scott

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today the waves were not that great… well, there were some waves, but I should rephrase and say the weather wasn’t that great.

Brian Scott

There was a little wind swell and some decent size waves coming through every now and then, but the cloudy, onshore and occasional rains made it not too inviting for surfing.

Brian Scott

Although there were still a couple of diehards out there probably loving having the whole lineup to themselves.

Brian Scott

If you were to come down to check it, this is what you would see today. Good day for some family time indoors playing some games, if rainy weather isn’t your thing?

Brian Scott

I have to say, this mujer (lady) came with good intention of reading her book, a REAL book (not a kindle or iPad) but a real paperback book. It’s too bad the wet weather came in and foiled her plans. I bet it’s a good book too! There’s always the hammock under a palapa listening to the sounds of waves and light rain while you enjoy that good story of a page turner!

Brian Scott

I only saw one local out. This kid is maybe the newest and hardest die hard to be surfing here presently. I’ve seen him out in every kind of scenario. Good weather, bad weather, big waves, small waves… this kid is !Muy hambriento por el surf!

Brian Scott

This was about the best wave I saw the entire time I was down at the playa. Would you paddle out?

Brian Scott

We even had some neighboring visitors pull up via their panga.

Brian Scott

I greatly appreciate this family for a couple of reasons, but my first and favorite is that they came to have a beach vacation and that’s exactly what they’re doing. Playing in the ocean together (no matter if it’s rain or shine). This is what a true definition of what a family should be (imho).

Brian Scott

Regardless of size, shape and deteriorating conditions (compared to yesterdays surf), this knee boarder was have a blast out there!

Brian Scott

Wave after wave he got to himself. Maybe not the best waves this place sees regularly, but still looked like he was having a great time!

Brian Scott

How do you like this view??

Brian Scott

Well once these are finished up, that’s pretty much the view you’ll get looking North of here. There aren’t too many of these Condos left, so if you’re still thinking about wanting to invest in a piece of this tropical little paradise, contact either Bryan or Carl here : www.surfnsr.com/pages/contact-nsr and to also see what we have listed here: www.surfnsr.com/nicaragua-real-estate to help get you dialed in with a place here that will fit your needs; be it surfing, golfing, fishing, family getaway or second home. These guys have been doing legitimate legal title transfer and sales of land and homes for many years here and you can count on investing safely with them, guaranteed!

Brian Scott

Back to the HOT surfing action… oh wait…. there it is! haha I almost fooled myself!

Brian Scott

This was one of the “neighboring” visitors from the panga I showed you earlier. He was killing these junky little waves!

Brian Scott

This is Hacienda Iguana ala quiet-ville time! I like it!

Brian Scott

Check it out… I found my doppelgänger, also known as “gemelo” in Spanish.

Brian Scott

Now check out this chunky, nuggety mini slab of a bowl all mixed up with some really grody winds. The fascinating thing about the oceanI find is, it looks like this EVERYWHERE at some point no matter what. So the good thing is, nowhere is perfect; some places are just blessed more than others. Like here.

Brian Scott

This guys hack attack pretty much sums up todays surfing conditions.

Brian Scott

This my report and I’m sticking with it! Haha, I’m not sure what that means but I know we’ll have better weather and some really good waves again real soon! Stay tuned and if you can try and plan a stealth trip for what looks like possibly one more good size swell on the long range forecast into the second week or so into September coming up; and plenty of other playful fun size surf in-between as well. I’ll catch ya’ll on the flip side this weekend! Cheers ~
